Nina Mascia named 2018-2019 UM Student Employee of the Year
Nina Mascia, UM senior and elementary education major, was selected as Montevallo’s 2019 Student Employee of the Year. Nina has worked for Counseling Services since her freshman year and has become an integral member of the Counseling Services staff. Nina will be greatly missed when she begins her student teaching/internship in the fall. Nina was nominated for the SEOTY award by her supervisor, Mr. Josh Miller and was selected from a total of 14 nominees that received from across campus. On Thursday, April 18, a luncheon was held at the Ackerly Room in Nina’s honor and the UM National Alumni Association presented her with a $500 prize.
