Philosophy Club is a student-led and student-organized club that has a long history at UM. Students who take part in Philosophy Club are usually Philosophy and Religious Studies minors, but any student who is interested in philosophy or religious studies topics is free to organize events and club meetings in consultation with Dr. Forrester, the Philosophy Club’s advisor. Philosophy Club is a very versatile club that has at various times in the past been involved with UM’s Life Raft Debate (1999-2019) as well as some humanitarian organizations such as Oxfam America.
