Family and Consumer Sciences Education prepares students for high demand teaching positions in Alabama and across the United States.
What You’ll Do:
- Shape the futures of middle and high school students
- Integrate knowledge and skills in content areas including nutrition, culinary, hospitality and tourism, fashion merchandising, interior design, child and adolescent development, parenting and education and training.
- Teach in business and industry, public and private secondary schools, government entities and/or non-profit organizations.
