The University of Montevallo Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition at River Park in Bonita Springs, FL features work by four sculpture students: A. Morgan Capps, Victoria Nichols, Jo Northen and Kohlton Shaffer. The sculptures were made under the direction of Assistant Professor Tanner Young, with students creating them as part of a Public Sculpture class in Fall 2018. Students continued to work diligently throughout Spring 2019 to complete the pieces. These sculptures represent the first outdoor works completed by each of the students and signify a pivotal moment in their careers.
