University of Montevallo Scholarships
Many institutional scholarships are available to entering freshmen, as well as to students transferring from community colleges. See The University of Montevallo’s scholarship directory for more information on merit-based scholarships, as well as scholarships based on financial need, leadership, community service, choice of major, and other criteria.
Montevallo Ambassador Program Scholarship (M.A.P.S.) awards comprise the University’s most prestigious scholarship program. Twelve M.A.P.S. awards are given annually covering the cost of room, board, tuition, and fees. M.A.P.S. recipients are automatically enrolled in the Honors Program and must maintain active status in the program in order to renew their scholarships.
Scholarships are also available to returning students. The Sabia Family Legacy Endowed Scholarship for Honors Students is awarded annually to a current student in the Honors Program. The Distinguished Alumni Scholarship is awarded annually to the President of Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Leadership Honors Society, which is housed in the Honors Program.
