Join the ValloVolunteers!

The ValloVolunteers are one of the University of Montevallo’s service programs aimed at helping students find valuable community service opportunities while pursuing educational goals. The Office of Engaged Education and Public Service wants to help you partner with local schools, churches, non-profits, businesses, and civic groups throughout our community.

We are looking to build our army of student volunteers for this program so that we can offer you a great chance to engage with and give back to our local communities outside of the classroom. This program also comes with the added benefits of keeping track of your community service hours, providing proof of service hours for any official educational or professional needs, and the opportunity to earn a service learning designation and cord at the time of graduation.

If you or your group want to be considered for any upcoming projects, events, or on-going opportunities for service, please contact Joyce Jones, Director of Engaged Education and Public Service at eeps@738628.com or call 205-665-6077 for more information.
