The University of Montevallo offers scholarships that vary in award criteria, and amounts. A special application must be completed to apply for the following scholarships by the March 1st deadline.
Social Work Majors Scholarships

Walters Scholarship | Awarded to enrolled students majoring in a Social Science field (Social Science, Political Science, Sociology, History) who have achieved at least sophomore standing and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00. | The Dr. Rebecca O. Turner Endowed Gap Scholarship for Social Work Majors | Provides emergency funding to Social Work students who have fallen on financial hardship due to no fault of their own. Social Work students can apply for the scholarship at any time throughout the semester, simply by scheduling a meeting with the Social Work program chair. | Awarded by Social Work faculty. |
