Founded at Montevallo in 1971, the Tau Kappa Chapter of the Chi Omega Fraternity is a sisterhood that lasts a lifetime. Rich in history and tradition, our mission is to offer a sisterhood that provides a network of friends and lifelong development for all of its members. Chi Omega is the largest women’s fraternal organization in the world with over 300,000 initiates and 170 collegiate chapters. Here at Montevallo, Chi Omega offers a home and a place to make your mark on the world. We pride ourselves in being among the best in scholarship of all other Greek organizations and in holding numerous leadership positions on campus in a variety of organizations.
