Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

CHADD
A non-profit organization serving individuals with AD/HD and their families. CHADD has over 16,000 members in 200 local chapters throughout the U.S. Chapters offer support for individuals, parents, teachers, professionals, and others.

ADDA

American Council of the Blind

American Foundation for the Blind
A national non-profit that expands the possibilities for people with vision loss. National Eye Institute

National Federation of the Blind
With more than 50,000 members, the National Federation of the Blind is the largest and most influential membership organization of blind people in the United States.  The NFB improves blind people’s lives through advocacy, education, research, technology, and programs encouraging independence and self-confidence.

National Association of the Deaf

LD Online
A website focused on learning disabilities and ADHD serving more than 200,000 parents, teachers, and other professionals each month. Provides up-to-date information and advice on LD and ADHD.

National Center for Learning Disabilities
Nationwide listing of schools, summer programs, assessment and treatment centers, and parent support groups that serve individuals with learning disorders.

American Chronic Pain Association
ACPA offers peer support and education in pain management skills to people with pain, family and friends, and health care professionals.

Arthritis Foundation

The only national force devoted to solving the mystery of lupus while giving care and support to those who suffer from its brutal impact.

National Kidney Foundation
Dedicated to the awareness, prevention and treatment of kidney disease.

National Multiple Sclerosis Society
A non-profit organization that helps people affected by multiple sclerosis by funding research, drives change through advocacy, facilitating professional education, and providing programs and services that help people with MS and their families.

National Organization on Disability
Private, non-profit organization that promotes the full participation of America’s 54 million people with disabilities in all aspects of life. In 2006 the focus was narrowed to increasing employment opportunities for the 79 percent of working-age Americans with disabilities who are not employed.

United Cerebral Palsy
Founded more than 60 years ago, UCP is a leading service provider and advocate for children and adults with disabilities. The UCP’s mission is to advance the independence, productivity and full citizenship of people with disabilities through an affiliate network.
